Briggs Automotive Company celebrates official launch of BAC Singapore

BAC continues its global expansion with the announcement of a new sales division in Singapore and Malaysia via a partnership with specialist dealership NB Auto. A Mono R supercar will now be on permanent display, and guests can enjoy the full Mono experience at NB Auto, located in central Singapore, following the official launch of BAC Singapore.

Ahead of the launch, the BAC team received a warm welcome at Eden Hall, the residence of the British High Commissioner to the Republic of Singapore Kara Owen, along with a member of the Johor Royal Family, who enjoyed a personal viewing of the Mono R with Neill Briggs, ahead of a private dinner hosted within the residence.

The official BAC Singapore launch event was hosted by Briggs Automotive Company Co-Founder Neill Briggs alongside Douglas Ng of NB Auto, now the home of BAC Singapore. Neill Briggs was joined by BAC’s Head of Global Sales Chris Lockhart and BAC Designer Daniel Youd, and the evening was attended by many VIP guests and members of the press who witnessed the unveiling of a unique, bespoke-build Mono R commissioned especially for BAC Singapore.

To further emphasise the bespoke nature of Mono, BAC Designer Daniel Youd hosted a number of 1:1 client design consultations at the BAC Singapore launch, to demonstrate the levels of personalisation offered when specifying a new Mono.

At the event, Neill Briggs, co-founder of BAC, said, “It has been an honour to launch BAC Singapore to a host of press and invited guests and to see their amazement and passion for our Mono supercar. Such with the excitement orders for new Mono supercars were received on the night, with more soon to follow. What a welcome for BAC in Singapore. In addition, I would like to offer my gratitude to His Royal Highness the Sultan of Jahor, and British High Commissioner Kara Owen, for their warm welcome to both the Mono and the BAC team. We look forward to a long and successful relationship with Douglas Ng and the NB Auto team as BAC Singapore goes from strength to strength.”

Mono is now exported to over 46 territories around the globe, has broken numerous performance records and is regarded as the new reference for supercars. Despite global success, the Mono is a very British supercar. Of 1,250 bespoke components used to build Mono, 95% are sourced in the UK, 50% of which are supplied by local companies in Liverpool City and the Northwest regions.
