Innovation & Technology: Adaptive Control For Unrivalled Engagement

The Model Year 2026 BAC Mono integrates a wealth of new technologies, setting new benchmarks for driver involvement and safety in its class.

At the heart of these developments are the new BAC-developed Adaptive Motorsport ABS and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems, working alongside selectable drive modes to deliver an adaptive and highly engaging driving experience.

Adaptive Motorsport ABS System

A significant leap forward in active safety and performance, the new BAC-developed Adaptive Motorsport ABS system provides exceptional stopping power and control.

Unlike conventional road ABS systems, which prioritise stability, BAC's motorsport-derived ABS is tuned for optimal performance. The intelligent system is highly tuneable across the Mono's driving modes, transitioning from a stability-biased setting for road and wet conditions to a calibration focused on achieving the shortest stopping distance on track.

Importantly, the adaptive ABS system remains active even in AYC Off mode, continuing to provide critical braking safety.

Electronic Stability Control (ESC) with Selectable Drive Modes

Introducing an unprecedented level of dynamic adaptability, the MY26 Mono features BAC-developed Electronic Stability Control (ESC), seamlessly integrated with multiple drive modes selected via the new driver interface.

Each mode offers a distinct calibration of ESC, Traction Control (TC), and ABS, allowing drivers to tailor the Mono's dynamic behaviour to suit their environment and driving requirements.

Road/Wet

Calibrated for enhanced stability and predictability, Road/Wet mode provides a safe and confident driving experience. Both ESC and TC are at their most active, while ABS is biased towards stability.

Sport

Sport mode delivers heightened vehicle characteristics and a more engaging experience for spirited road driving and initial track exploration. ESC and TC intervention are reduced compared with Road/Wet mode, while ABS balances stability with stopping distance.

Track

Track mode unleashes maximum braking performance, significantly reducing intervention from the dynamic systems for the most direct and uncompromised circuit driving. ESC and TC are at their least sensitive, while ABS primarily prioritises the shortest stopping distance.

AYC Off

Designed for the ultimate purist, AYC Off mode disables both ESC and TC functions, offering maximum driver involvement and control. This mode demands the highest level of skill and precision.

It is important to note that the adaptive ABS system remains active even in AYC Off mode, continuing to provide critical braking safety.

Adaptive Technology for Unrivalled Engagement

These selectable drive modes allow drivers to precisely tailor the BAC Mono's dynamic behaviour to their environment and skill level, delivering an adaptive and supremely engaging driving experience.

By combining BAC-developed control systems with motorsport-derived braking technology, the Model Year 2026 Mono continues to place driver involvement at the forefront, offering greater adaptability across road and track driving.
