Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) has officially launched the all-new Mono Driver’s Jacket, exclusively tailored for owners of the limited-edition BAC Mono R. Designed and developed by BAC in association with Hong Kong clothing specialist KTC, the jacket is BAC’s first venture into performance wear.

The Ultimate Driving Companion

Designed from the ground up by BAC’s design team to elevate driver performance across a range of conditions.

The Gore-Tex jacket is designed to be the ultimate driving companion inside the Mono single-seater cockpit, featuring a number of innovative solutions for a seamless owner experience, allowing you to focus on what matters; the driving.

Design

It features six pockets in total, all of which are designed to sit independently from the Mono seatbelt setup. The main pockets open inversely for easier access inside the cockpit with the opposing hand and are roomy enough for your smartphone. A small pocket on the right wrist is smartly designed to house the Mono transponder, while a secret pocket inside the left breast and a right bicep pocket keep valuables safe.

The stylish main white colour scheme falls in line with the BAC corporate colours and is designed to reflect heat, with red and black featuring to inject both style and purpose. Black inner on slim-fitted sleeves keep the driver from bright distractions in the unique Mono driving position, while additional length and gripper sections on the wrists keep sleeves from riding up and allowing drafts in.

The same applies to the rear of the Mono Owner’s Jacket, with an extension and gripper section ensuring it doesn’t ride up despite the curved posture while driving. Above that, inside pads add further driver comfort.

The reverse style of the jacket is inspired by the shut lines on Mono‘s spine, while the collar‘s slim fitting, high neck is designed not to interfere with the driver’s helmet. In addition to this there is a removable, adjustable hood to protect the driver’s face.
