MAYOR OF LIVERPOOL JOE ANDERSON OPENS STATE-OF-THE-ART BAC INNOVATION CENTRE

Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) has officially opened the state-of-the-art BAC Innovation Centre – a new 11,000 sq ft facility alongside the BAC Manufacturing Centre in the heart of southern Liverpool.

The BAC Innovation Centre features the likes of a dedicated BAC Mono Service Centre, an advanced Innovation Studio and Innovation Offices for the Design and Engineering teams at BAC.

The new facility was opened by Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson, six years on from his opening of the Manufacturing Centre in December 2013. Anderson toured both facilities to see just how far BAC has come since 2013 before meeting staff and learning their stories.

BAC’s exciting expansion into the Innovation Centre comes off the back a need to cater to an ever-increasing global demand from all four corners, with dealerships being announced in Europe and the USA in recent months and further worldwide expansion planned before the turn of the year.

BAC now has a total of 22,000 sq ft across the Manufacturing and Innovation Centres from which to operate and continue to bring Mono Mania to the world.

Ian Briggs, BAC Co-Founder and Design Director, said: “Opening the BAC Innovation Centre is not only a massive step in the history of the company but a humbling reminder of just how far we’ve come in such a short space of time. It’s been an incredible journey for BAC and with the Innovation Centre now in full swing, we have the perfect platform to build and hit further heights as a company. We now have the ideal facility in which to develop new products and implement the very latest technology, while the new service area has given our technical team ample room to continue providing the very best service in the business. Special thanks to our friend the Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson for opening the Innovation Centre and showing his usual enthusiasm for BAC as one of the most exciting brands in Liverpool.”
