BAC IN BUSINESS: MOVING ON FROM COVID-19

Briggs Automotive Company (BAC) is moving on from the Covid-19 crisis and emerging in a strong, positive position despite the reverberations of the global pandemic. Thanks to embracing innovative sales techniques and regularly working hand-in-hand with the supply chain, BAC has been able to minimise the effects of coronavirus on the business and keep things moving.

The Liverpool-based company entered the lockdown period off the back of launching the brand-new BAC Mono supercar, which received enormous positivity and adoration from around the world.

This success translated into impressive advanced sales for the turbocharged newcomer – set to legally hit the streets of Europe and the world in summer 2021. The appetite for the current-generation Mono was equally positive, with a resurgence in sales across the globe.

BAC welcomed new Mono owners from the likes of Canada, South Korea, Germany and across multiple States in the USA, further demonstrating the immense desirability of the iconic supercar. Sales staff were able to present the car to potential buyers via video call, with Co-Founder Neill Briggs on hand to answer questions and tell the company’s exciting story.

BAC’s special-edition final trio – the BAC Mono One – also saw orders for the Neon Red and Carbon Black editions, which will be the final current Monos to roll out of the Liverpool factory. The Icon White edition is still available for purchase and represents the last chance to own an automotive icon and true collector’s item.

Supply chain closures across the UK presented a manufacturing challenge for BAC, but hard work with partners ensured production continued in Liverpool to meet global demand. The first three of 30 ultra-high-performance BAC Mono R models are coming together in the factory, ready to hit the road in September. There are bigger plans still for the BAC Mono R test car that month, which will be revealed in due course.

Neill Briggs, BAC Co-Founder and Director of Product Development, said: “While we certainly haven’t emerged unscathed from the coronavirus pandemic, we have used innovation and strong will to keep moving and subsequently welcome new Mono owners from around the world. As everyone knows, BAC is never about slowing down…

“We are very much looking forward to kicking on from the crisis and continuing towards a hugely exciting future for the company. We’d also like to express our sincere condolences to everyone affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.”
